What we do?
We are looking for Socata TB9, TB10 and TB20 owners who would like to apply for MOGAS (EN228 Super Plus) (car gasoline) approval for their aircraft.
First of all, it will not be allowed to use fuel containing ethanol (E5 / E10), as in the case on other similar STC´s on other aircraft.

Why is it necessary?
Lycoming has already approved most engines for alternative fuels in the SI1070AB (see below).
However, the airframe must also be approved for this petrol type.

Unfortunately, this is not the case with the TB series.
This STC is intended to approve the “airframe” to operate on these fuel types.
We assume that the engine already has an approval.

We know that this is hard way and there have been many attempts in the past to start such certification.
All of them were unsuccesfull because lack of publicity.
Now we will start a big appeal one last time.
Fuelprices are going to rise and the availability of AVGAS100LL decreases.
Many different aircraft types and engines were now certified for using MOGAS legally and they saving money with every hour flighttime.
Our target STC will be issued by EASA and its applicable with no further actions required in all EASA memberstates and third party states with agreements. More information about third party states will be published here shortly.
Our EASA STC will be validated by FAA to install it in any applicable U.S aircraft.

We are currently here on Step 1
We collect all necessary data such as TB type, motor, serial number, year of construction and other modifications.
At the same time we are in contact with the certification authority to check the different options and framework.
If enough owners has been registred and all legal issues were clarified, we are able to publish a price.

Step 2
All interested parties have the opportunity to apply for an STC via the webshop (not available yet) , a prepayment will be necessary.
Step 3
Then the certification will start at the certification authority partner .
Various flight and material tests have to be carried out.
We will do this with our own aircraft or in the case of type differences by selected partners.
Step 4
When the STC is ready, it can be transferred to other airplane within the same type. In other words, the STC is being delivered.
A aircraft technican of your choice can then install the STC. (Attach sticker and enter the paperwork in the L-file etc.)
All necessary informations will we provide as soon as possible.
Since not all TBs are the same, any modifications to the aircraft may be necessary; this will become apparent during the data collection and data evaluation on the part of the certification body.
